Chocolato was founded in August 2015 out of a true passion for chocolate, with a first branch opening its doors in Sainte-Foy. The dream was to offer an experience at the crossroads between the dairy bar and the chocolate factory, inspired by the most prestigious Italian chocolate shops.
Pure, quality ingredients were the inspiration and basis for Chocolato products. In addition to having 20 choices of chocolate dips at all times, Chocolato was a true pioneer in being the first to offer a year-round dairy dipping experience.
Barely 8 months later, a second Chocolato took up residence in the Galeries de la Capitale, then a third in Lévis in October. In 2017, the ascent continued with successive openings in Gatineau, Québec (Laurier Québec, rue Saint-Jean, Chauveau, Charlesbourg), Joliette, Brossard and Shawinigan. In order to meet demand, Chocolato also opened a brand new warehouse in Quebec City.
At the time of writing, the Chocolato family has 12 locations under its belt, but its growth is far from over! The team behind Chocolato intends to spread its love of chocolate both nationally and internationally, to the delight of sweet lovers!
